The Manufacturing Advisory Service (MAS) nationwide aims to encourage and support Small and Medium-sized Enterprises (SMEs) to help them seize the commercial opportunities within the nuclear supply chains of the rapidly expanding global civil nuclear market. MAS will provide specialist market information and product development advice to SMEs to enable them to maximise their potential - opportunities that represent almost every manufacturing discipline. MAS is part of the Solution for Business suite of government funded support. Through the FREE* Manufacturing Review they can tailor assistance to help companies address their specific priorities and objectives, be they quality and problem solving, competitiveness, productivity, or sustainability. Eperienced industry practitioners will carry out an assessment of your business processes that will highlight areas of opportunity or actions that you can take to improve operational performance. SMEs can then benefit from a generous subsidy on consultancy support where your local MAS region will help you to compete effectively with international competitors to secure elements of the supply chain. If your business is new to the nuclear supply chain then MAS can help you to save valuable time, by removing complexity, steer you through the maze of information already available and help provide a head-start for you to compete for nuclear supply chain contracts. How can MAS help?
* Eligibility Criteria – based on SME definition: companies with up to 250 employees and / or up to €50m turnover. No more than 25% of the company should be owned by a group with more than 250 employees and / or €50m. |
